From the first page of the ledger

Nothing was ever hidden to be kept.

The khojis hid things so that they would be found. A ledger in Surat. A name in Nagpur. A debt in Kochi. Each one left where somebody who cared enough would eventually look.

They wrote the country into a map. Then they lost the map on purpose.

Chapter One is called Parichay. It opens in Surat this November and moves through three to four cities over two months. Four of you. One answer that has been sitting in plain sight since 1886.

You don't need to know the story to start. You'll be in it by the end.
